Due to popular demand, GMC is making the AT4 trim level available across more of its lineup. Initially, the AT4 was a way to provide the Sierra truck with more off-roading components for Moss Bluff and Jennings, LA drivers. But now GMC is offering this option to its SUVs as well.
GMC Vehicles Offered in AT4 Trim
The GMC AT4 lineup will consist of the Sierra 1500, Sierra HD, Canyon, Yukon, Acadia, and Terrain. The following will be an in-depth look at some of the vehicles to get the AT4 treatment.
GMC Sierra AT4
The Sierra was first to receive the AT4 treatment back in the 2019 model year. The Sierra AT4 provides Orange, TX, drivers with features like a two-inch suspension lift, a terrain-selectable traction control system with hill descent control, all-terrain tires, and a set of skid plates.
The Sierra AT4 is powered by a 5.3-liter 355 horsepower V8 engine, and it’s connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Passengers will receive dual-zone climate control and heated and ventilated seats in the front and back row in the cab.
GMC Canyon AT4
Just as the Sierra AT4 made a splashback in the 2019 model year, the Canyon AT4 is expected to do the same. The Canyon AT4 will offer Sulphur, LA, residents a set of red tow hooks, a larger grille, a set of unique 17-inch all-terrain tires, and an off-road-tuned suspension.
The GMC Canyon AT4 will also come standard with a V6 engine that can produce 308 horsepower, 275 pounds of torque and will be connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission. There is also an available 2.8-liter 181 horsepower Duramax diesel engine with a six-speed automatic that can produce 369 pounds of torque for drivers interested in a true workhorse.
